Project: The Jardins de Métis: Systemic Garden

Garden design for the Jardins de Métis design festival. The project focus is of the breath of variety of a single species of common plant, Lavandula (lavender). An exercise in multicultural gardening, the exhibit tracks Lavandula across the world's landscapes and cultures with varietals that may be slightly different or vastly different from each other.

Through a systematic study and display of Lavandula varietals throughout the world this garden can display the beauty of the globe and touch upon the wonder of the many cultures that share a love of this single plant.
